Lesson 16: The Book of Psalms Scriptures in quotation marks are taken from the KING JAMES VERSION of the Bible.

1. He doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked (doesn’t go to the ungodly for advice). 2. He doesn’t stand “in the way of sinners” (doesn’t follow their lifestyle). 3. He doesn’t sit “in the seat of the scornful” (“seat” refers to teaching & encouraging others to be sinful).

Psalm 1:2 – He delights “in the law of the Lord” and meditates on it all the time. Psalm 46:1 – Synthetic Psalm 46:2-5 – Antithetic

Psalm 73:11-15 – We focus on temporary prosperity. Psalm 46:10 – We must get our attention off our problems and on God’s power. Psalm 73:11-15 – We focus on temporary prosperity. Psalm 73:17-19 – By looking at their ultimate destiny
