Prince William County Human Rights Commission Mediation A mediation occurs before your complaint is investigated by PWHRC and provides you and your employer a chance to talk about your concerns. If both parties agree to the terms of the mediation, the charge will be settled based on these terms and closed. If Mediation fails it moves on to investigation. If Charging Party and Respondent agree to mediate they will chose a mutually agreed upon time to meet at the Human Rights Office. A mediator will assist the parties in reaching a resolution to the charge. If both parties agree to the terms of the mediation, the charge will be settled based on these terms and closed. A Mediation Agreement by the mediator and signed by both parties will represent full and final relief to the parties, and its terms will be binding on both parties.
