Match the sentences with their possible inferences! I forgot to set my alarm clock last night. The doorbell rang. Mary plays her flute for 2 hours every day. I put on my best clothes and shoes. The baby was crying. What’s happening? He is probably hungry. She plays the instrument very well. I'm going to a wedding party. Someone is at the door. I woke up late this morning.

Now, it’s your turn! Write a sentence that describes a situation that helps people make inference about what is happening.
