Ephesians 2:1-10

Ephesians 2:1-10 As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. 3 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath.

Ephesians 2:1-10 4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. 6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Four Hard Questions

A Surrendered Life I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20

4 HARD BUT GREAT QUESTIONS Is knowing Jesus better than anything? Will I live the life God asks me to? Is there anything in my life that doesn’t please God? Am I available to be God’s spokesperson?

Is Knowing Jesus Better Than Anything? What makes Him so exceedingly great? Enchant the rest of my life. Fascinating. Your love is better than life. (Psalm 63:3) Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere / being satisfied as with the richest of foods. Psalm 42

The Greatness of Jesus The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. 19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, 20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross. Colossians 1:15-20 Enchant the rest of my life.

Fascinating. Your love is better than life. (Psalm 63:3) Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere / being satisfied as with the richest of foods. Psalm 42

The Greatness of Jesus At the name of Jesus, every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2: 10-11 Enchant the rest of my life. Fascinating. Your love is better than life. (Psalm 63:3) Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere / being satisfied as with the richest of foods. Psalm 42

The Greatness of Jesus Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. Peter in Acts 4:12 Enchant the rest of my life. Fascinating. Your love is better than life. (Psalm 63:3) Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere / being satisfied as with the richest of foods. Psalm 42
