Welcome to Inc! Week 1

Construct a basketball net and ball launcher. Scenario: You have been hired by the NBA to create a table top basketball game for children to play during half-time of the professional games. Challenge Materials Provided Construct a basketball net and ball launcher. The goal post must be free standing and you need to launch the basketball from at least 1 foot away to get a basket.  Foam balls or ping pong balls Rubber bands Paper clips Scissors Craft Sticks Markers Straws Ruler Pipe Cleaners Tulle Masking tape Dixie cups Index cards Pennies

Instructions You will be placed into groups of 4. Each group receives a bin with supplies (the same for each group). The goal post must be free standing and you need to launch the basketball from at least 1 foot away to get a basket.  You will have 20 minutes to construct the basketball launcher and net. Once time is up, we can move around the room and have each group share what they made and demonstrate how it works.
