Home Heating Fund Set up in response to gap in the market for funded heating upgrades to private off-gas homes at risk of fuel poverty Consumer focussed branch of Cenergist trying to reach rural and urban rural households off the gas network Utilises HHCRO funding to upgrade and install: - Oil boilers - LPG boilers - Electric storage heaters - Heat pumps Assists the Affordable Warmth group – private tenants or owner occupiers in receipt of benefits with an inefficient off-gas heating system Residents often unaware of grant funding available to them

Operations & Delivery National supply chain of PAS accredited Oftec, Gas Safe, NICEIC and MCS installers across England, Wales and Scotland Premium products installed only – developed relationships with manufacturers Established funding relationships with three of the biggest energy companies Referral relationships with regional energy agencies and landlords to reach the most in need Park homes campaign with referral energy agencies – LPG and electric storage heater upgrades Expansion of offering to include E, F & G rated social housing for first time central heating First ever UK HHCRO funded social housing first time central heating project completed July 2017 with ground source heat pumps

Park Homes Many residential parks throughout the UK classed as permanent homes Home Heating Fund has good funding available for park home heating upgrades Park homes mainly not connected to gas network – supplied by LPG or electric storage heaters Fabric of park homes means poor energy efficiency and insulation measures infeasible Residents in need of efficient heating systems more than in other property types Low income and elderly tenure at risk of fuel poverty Difficult group to target and residents unaware of funding available Pilot in partnership with Durham County Council to assess eligibility and deliver grant funded upgrades Expansion of project with energy agencies in other parts of UK Aim to roll out park homes campaign across region with further local partnerships
