EASY WAYS TO TRAIN YOUR PETS 4

Train a pet cannot be equated with train a human child as the former has less cognitive power than the later.

Here training means making it efficient to understand your language and act accordingly.

When it comes to train a pet, we first think of the creature-dog. However, other domestic animals including cats and parrots can also be trained.

All types of pets do not require same level of effort from us for getting trained. It depends!

You should follow certain procedures to tame your pet easily. Let's check them:

START FROM 'COME' AND 'SIT'

Before you give your pet training, you should know its likes and dislikes properly.

You have to spend as much time as possible with it.

When you return home after a long time and your pet becomes overwhelmed to see you, that’s the best time to train your pet.

You have to first teach it how it will come to you in responding to your particular gesture.

And then it should be taught to sit down, if asked.

KEEP PATIENCE

You cannot train a pet overnight. It will take time. Some animals may require a month and some could even need a year.

You should understand the difficulty from the pet's side.

Do not be irritated. You should keep patience.

The training must be undertaken everyday and that should be also at a particular time. As a result, the pet adjusts itself.

DON'T GIVE PUNISHMENT

Punishment is a symbol of frustration. You should avoid it anyhow.

Despite your hard effort, if the pet does not respond you rightly, it would hurt you.

Still you have to control your temper. Do not show it to your pet through any kind of physical torture.

Such practice might backfire. The pet would exhibit unusual behavior in fear of the punishment.

Sometimes, it may become violent and does not hesitate to attack you.

SET REWARD

You should place a variety of rewards for the pet for each correct response.

Try to repeat such behaviors that you expect from it and avoid the incorrect ones.

Like humans, animals do not have interest in other kinds of stuffs except food items.

So, for a right response, you should offer the pet a specific kind of food that it mostly likes.

Always, encourage the pet for the reward. So that it can understand the value of right behavior.

CONCLUSION

Train an animal is easier said than done.

When you are giving your pet training, you have to make sure that its health condition is extremely right.

An animal when suffering from any kind of health issues cannot give its best.

The body and mind of the pet should be synchronized to respond to your indication.

You should afford it regular health checkups with a professional vet. And give priority to its diets too.

Thank You
