God’s Questions to Adam & Eve Where are you? Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I command you not to eat? What is this that you have done?

Where are you? Where are you? Where are YOU in your relationship with God? Are you a Christian? A faithful Christian? Can I know if I am right with God? a. I John 5:13 We must give diligence to show ourselves approved to God. a. II Tim. 2:15; II Peter 1:10 “The whole duty of man is to fear God and keep His commandments” Eccl. 12:13

Who told you that…. One can be saved by faith only. Baptism is not essential to salvation. You do not need to partake of the Lord’s Supper every first day of the week. Instrumental music is a matter of opinion. Remember, much of the information Adam & Eve received was from Satan.

Have you eaten from the tree of which I command you not to eat? Seeing our own sins is difficult. Human nature is to blame others. If we want to be right with God, we must accept responsibility for our own sins. We need to examine ourselves. II Cor.13:5; Ezek. 18:27-28 Every temptation has a way to escape. I Cor. 10:13

What is this you have done? It is no big deal! It doesn’t hurt anyone! What have YOU done? Sins of commission. Sins of omission. We have all sinned. Romans 3:23 What have you done about your sins? Some ignore them. Some repent of them. Which have you done?

God’s questions to Adam & Eve are beneficial to all of us. Where are you? Are you in a right relation- ship with God? Who told you that ……? We must be sure that everything we do is by God’s authority. Have you done that which I commanded not? We must take responsibility for our sins. What is this that you have done? Have you repented of those sins?

All of us should be able to say… “I have repented and have been baptized for the remission of my sins and I am right with God. I am in Christ where there is no condemnation, and if I were to die today, I would be with the Lord forever!”

Can you?
