Chapters 7-13 God sent ten plagues: blood, frogs, gnats, flies, death of livestock, boils, hail, locusts, darkness, and finally death of the firstborn With this came the institution of the Passover – 12:1-13 So they left Egypt, and the Lord was with them – 13:17- 22

Chapters 19-24 Stopping at Mount Sinai, the people were given the Law from God Including the Ten Commandments – 20:1-17 Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights

Chapters 25-40 They were given laws concerning the tabernacle, the priests, and worship However the people were unfaithful – 32:1-6 God, in contrast, is always faithful – 34:11-16, 27-28

Conclusion “And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. May you be strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” – Col. 1:9-14
