FY 2016 Status Notice of Funding Opportunity being reviewed by DHS and OMB Areas of Interest will be available for public comment Announcement published when Areas of Interest Finalized Estimated funding at $5.2 million

New Civil Rights Requirement Compliance information collected after award Requirement once every 2 years Office of Civil Rights will be responsible for enforcement and will provide samples Ensuring compliance with laws and policies prohibiting discrimination, examples include: Title VI of the Civil Rights Act Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 American with Disabilities Act of 1990 Title IX of the Education Amendment of 1972 Age Discrimination Act of 1975

Data Collected Complaints/lawsuits during the past 5 years Civil Rights Compliance Reviews for the past 2 years List of Federal agencies that grantee receives awards from or has pending applications Nondiscrimination policy Discrimination complaints process Policies and Procedures to provide access and services to individuals with limited English proficiency Grantees will sign off
