Where is Glacier Bay? Name: Glacier Bay Continent: North America Country: United States Glacier Bay is located in the continent, North America. It is in the United States. To be specific, Glacier Bay is located in Juneau, Alaska. It was established on December 2, 1980.

Description and Physical Features In Glacier Bay, there are a ton of glaciers. There are also some freshwater rivers and lakes. Glacier Bay is also very big. The size is 3,280,198 acres. It is also a home for many animals such as salmon, harbor seals, humpback whales, and more.

How was it created? It was created by nature, itself. The tall mountains and big glaciers were formed by ice melting and forming overtime. It would be impossible for a glacier to be man made. Also, some of the freshwater lakes and rivers were formed because of the glaciers and ice melting.

Should it be in the Seven Natural Wonders of the Western Hemisphere? I think it should be included in the seven natural wonders. Since global warming is currently in effect, it would be kind of rare to see glaciers and ice mountains. Also, it’s unique. It’s not like it’s just another national park that has a waterfall and a rocky mountain. Therefore, I think it should be included in the Seven Natural Wonders of the Western Hemisphere.

Conclusion As you can see, Glacier Bay is one of the most unique places on earth. It is a gigantic habitat that is full of animals. It also has a lot of beautiful glaciers. Who knows? You might find a rare animal there!
