Agenda 8.29.2017 Bell Work Agenda Daily reminder – we all need reminders in life Review Bell Work – group share Tricks to transferring your drawing - DEMO Studio Time – 12 minutes Shading with colored pencils – DEMO Studio Time Clean-Up Exit Pass

Reminders: Supplies As a group you are responsible for making sure that everything you need it there at the beginning of class and at the end of class Everything and everyone has value – trait is as such! If you are missing a color – check with the pencils upfront, let’s replace it

What do you already know about working with colored pencils? Review Bell Work What do you already know about working with colored pencils? Let’s make a list and that will help me with the demo, so I teach you new things and not things you already know

Tricks to Transferring Your Sketches to Your Final Drawing Tracing a drawing you already drew using the windows and tape Enlarging a drawing with notional space and math

Studio Time – 12 minutes On final drawing paper, draw light till you get it right(that way you can erase it), draw out your 3-5 symbols that represent you and your word(reminder: make sure it’s appropriate for school) If you are done early you can start shading with color pencils There will be a demo. soon

Colored Pencil Demo.(page 7 of your sketchbook) Shading with colored pencils Using a blending pencil Cross-hatching and stippling Extra Stuff: Sharpening colored pencils – just a reminder Anyone missing any colors in their packets?

Studio Time – rest of class until clean-up and exit pass Continue working on your final drawing Make sure you have your word and 3-5 symbols that represent you You will have this class and Fridays class to finish this project Projects are DUE Friday

Clean-Up Double check your colored pencils and make sure they are all there If there is trash in your trash container at your table, please throw it away in the big trash back by the sink If you got your table dirty clean you table with purple table spray and a paper towel(back by the sink) If you got pencil shavings on the floor, please clean it up with the broom and dust pan Thanks for treating our shared supplies with value by taking care of them, just like you should treat yourself with value and take care of yourself.

Exit Pass 8.30.2017 Is there anything you feel stuck on with your art and if so where are you stuck? What are you most proud of so far about your art work? Find at least one thing to be proud of or share more than one. Have you paid your art fee yet? If not, when do you think you will be able to pay it by? (art fees are paid at the bookstore or online, show the receipt to me once you have paid it-thanks!) See you all Friday! – projects are DUE at the end of class
