LEAD QUESTIONABLE LIVES

HABIT 2: EAT

ACTS 15 Abstain from food sacrificed to idols Abstain from sexual immorality Abstain from the meat of strangled animals Abstain from blood

The Son of Man came... ...not to be served but to serve and give his life as a ransom for many. –Mark 10.45 ...to seek and save the lost. –Luke 19.10 ...eating and drinking, and you say “Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and ‘sinners.’” –Luke 7.34

And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.” Luke 22.19

5 When Jesus reached the spot, he looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, come down immediately. I must stay at your house today.”6 So he came down at once and welcomed him gladly. 7 All the people saw this and began to mutter, “He has gone to be the guest of a sinner.” 8 But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount.” Luke 19.5-8

JESUS DID NOT CONDONE HIS BEHAVIOR, BUT HE DID AFFIRM HIS VALUE.
