INTRODUCTION TO COMPUTER HARDWARE

OBJECTIVES By the end of the lesson, the learners should be able to; Explain computer hardware State at least 3 examples of input devices Mention at least 3 output devices Identify at least 2 storage devices

INTRODUCTION hardware are the physical part or components of the computer. This means they can be seen and touched. Hardware can be grouped into input, output and storage devices.

Input devices Input devices are the devices use to enter data into the computer or to give command to the computer.

SOME EXAMPLE OF INPUT DEVICES

OUTPUT DEVICES They are the devices which display information or processed data to the use.

STORAGE DEVICES They are devices that are used to keep information/data/programs for future retrieval.
