Introduction to Paragraphs

Paragraph A series of sentences about a specific topic. The paragraph contains details and explanation of each detail.

When a player makes a good hit, a good play, or scores a touchdown, and the crowd roars, you can almost feel the excitement. Football also has a lot of strategy involved. It is almost like watching a game of chess when coaches try to match certain players against each other and trick the other team by calling special plays. Finally, it is a tradition. It is so much fun to get together with friends and family, eat good food, and cheer together for your favorite team. For all these reasons, football is just incredible to watch.
