Who or What Am I? Review Activity Unit 5 & 6: Georgia State Government, Local Government, and Adult & Juvenile Justice System

I am the Chief of State for Georgia, who serves as the head of the executive branch of government in the state. Who Am I? Governor

The state of Georgia has had 10 different versions of me since 1777 The state of Georgia has had 10 different versions of me since 1777. The latest version of me was adopted in 1983. My purpose is to ensure freedom, liberty, justice, peace, and happiness for all the citizens of Georgia. What Am I? Georgia State Constitution

I am the legislative branch of government, who makes the laws for Georgia. We meet at the State Capitol Building in Atlanta, Georgia (the seat of government) for 40 days each year… What Am I? General Assembly

I help the governor to enforce the laws of Georgia I help the governor to enforce the laws of Georgia. As a member of the executive branch, I preside over the Senate in the General Assembly and I am next in line to serve as governor in the event of death or resignation. Who Am I? Lieutenant Governor
