Hope for Haiti

Why are we Donating to Haiti? Less than 20% of Haiti’s roads are paved. In impoverished, rural communities in Haiti, over 30% of houses have dirt floors. 35% of Haitian youth are unable to read and the average child spends less than four years in school In Haiti, 53% of the population lack access to water 56% of Haitian households live in extreme poverty, at under $1 per day Haiti only has 25 physicians and 11 nurses per 100,000 population
