Social media USE IT POSITIVELY BE VERY CAREFUL WHO YOU ARE ‘CONNECTED’ WITH EVERYTHING YOU POST CAN BE FOUND THE INTERNET HAS A VERY LONG MEMORY INTERVIEWERS WILL CHECK YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA HISTORY – SOME MORE THAN OTHERS Check theirs – find out their interests REMEMBER WHAT IS LEGAL AND WHAT IS NOT v v

CONCLUSION (AND QUESTIONS) Research companies and people before you meet them Check over all written materials Be confident, honest and communicate clearly Success is what you make of yourself – pizzas, ambulances and the BBC Do what you enjoy – you’re a long time working
