Surveys and Graphs

Research Steps Ask a question with different possible answers Gather the data from many people Count how many of each answer there is Make a bar graph OR Make a circle graph Write a paragraph to explain what your question was, the numbers or percentages of each answer, and what you can conclude from the results.

3) Count how many people are in the class 3) Count how many people are in the class. Do you need to find the percent? For a bar graph, no. For a circle graph, yes! To find percentage: take the number that chose the color and divide it by the total number in the group, then multiply by 100.
