Road Map Introduction Objective Market Operations Product/Service Differentiation

Who we are We are a primary health care clinic that provides quality individualized and accessible services to families and individuals, of all age groups, living in our local urban community with a team of doctors, nurses and administrative assistants. Team of administrative assistants, nurses, and doctors Operate 8 hours a day, six days a week Provide physicals, flu shots, lab services, and vaccinations

80-90% CAPACITY UTILIZATION Our objective is to increase our number of patients and operate at 80-90% capacity everyday with individuals who live in urban communities, and do not have primary healthcare physicians by providing easy accessibility and convenient hours.

Our Market Primary Health Clinic in an Urban Community Demand is elastic Assumption that people prefer to spend money on other goods and services except for a few exceptions (Examples of other are food, clothes, entertainment) People with chronic pain great enough to reduce utility from other goods and services People with urgent medical needs Assumption that people do not get annual physical unless required by school/work Only go to doctor if they think they are sick or injured Results in HIGH price sensitivity Supply represents low marginal costs Cost of supplies like gauze, needles, table paper, tissues, disinfectant, etc. Fixed costs are very high for primary health clinic like equipment, staff, building, utilities Average variable costs are low High Volume, Low Margin Market Power is small We are price takers not price makers because of health insurance Resembles perfect competition Medical groups/Government regulations for doctor and nurse certifications Our power is a result of easy accessibility, early morning/late night hours, this supports demand but still does not provide us any pricing power

A Day in the Life… How we operate

What makes our clinic unique? Easy accessibility Convenient hours Online scheduling system and patient profiles Shorter waiting periods

Conclusion Capacity Utilization High volume, low margins Convenient & Accessible Technology Utilization Fast turn-arounds for appointments
