1. What kind of angle is smaller than a right angle? An acute angle is less than 90 degrees.

2. What kind of angle is exactly 90 degrees? A right angle always has 90 degrees.

3. What kind of angle has more than 90 degrees? An obtuse angle has more than 90 degrees but is smaller than 180 degrees.

4. What kind of angle is formed with a straight line? A straight angle has 180 degrees and makes a straight line.

What kind of triangle has three equal sides? An equilateral triangle has three equal sides and three equal angles.

6. What is the answer of an addition problem? When numbers are added, the answer is called the sum.

7. What is the answer of a subtraction problem? When one number is subtracted from another, the answer is called the difference.

8. What is the answer to a multiply problem? When one number is multiplied times another, the answer is called the product.

9. What is the answer to a division problem called? When one number is divided into another, the answer is called the quotient.

10. What is the number called that is being divided into? The dividend is the number that is divided into.

11. Given a list of numbers, what is the mode? The number that appears in the list the most.

The mean would be the number in the middle. 12. Given a list of numbers arranged in order from smallest to largest (or vise versa), what is the median? The mean would be the number in the middle.

13. What is a mean? When a list of numbers are added to get a sum, and then that number is divided by the number of numbers that were added together, the answer to the problem is called the mean or average.

14. How do we find the range of a list of numbers? Given a list of numbers, first put them in order from smallest to largest. Then you subtract the smallest number from the largest number and find the difference, which then finds the range.

15. What makes two shapes congruent? Shapes are congruent is they are exactly the same shape and exactly the same size.

16. What defines similar shapes? When any two shapes look alike or the same, except one is larger or smaller than the other.

18. What’s the place value of 6 in 6,819? The 6 digit is in 1,000’s place.

17. What is the place value of 3 in the number 325? The 3 digit is in the 100’s place.

20. What’s the place value of 7 in 798,635? The digit 7 is in 100,000’s place.

19. What’s the place value of 5 in the number 51, 357? The 5 digit is in 10,000’s place.
