Seven Wonders of the World

The Pyramid of Cheops Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - the largest of the Egyptian pyramids, the only one of the "Seven Wonders of the World", preserved to this day. The construction of the pyramid (and it was completed around 2590 BC) took 2.3 million stone blocks weighing two and a half tons each. The total volume of the pyramid is 2.34 million cubic meters. Hanging Gardens of Babylon Hanging gardens were built in 600 BC. By the order of the Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar II. Gardens located on artificial vaults, on top of residential or household buildings, are called hanging.
