As technology changes career opportunities, workers will need to update skills three or four times in their lifetime.

Technology and our Economy Exciting and frustrating Data clerks store billions of data byte in an area smaller than the eye can see. Computer use for motion pictures and amusement rides. Demand for the future of computers is high.

Technology Many people feel that computers are taking their jobs away. People who will need to find a new job as a result of technology are called displaced workers.

Technology and you As computers and other technology become more important in our lives, the ability to use this technology is vital to each person’s survival. Computer literacy is the ability to use computers to process information or solve problems.
