Space requirements for PACMAN To improve team efficiency and make the project a real success: ESRs offices located at the same place (and not near their supervisors, except during the 6 first months), e.g. 5 offices for 2 persons. Even «Algecos» could be ok. At least 3 laboratory rooms (~4m x 4m) nearby, hosting the following test benches: Magnetic measurements RF measurements Assembly / final mock-up Micrometric alignment test setup Nano-positioning Seismic sensors Requirements for the labs: Thermally stable ~ 20±2 °C Low level vibration and ground motion (potential sites can be easily checked by the CLIC Stabilization Team) Duration (2014-2017)
