Harris, PhD David.Harris2@ucf.edu Dr. Harris has 9 years of teaching experience at Drexel University and the University of Central Florida’s College of Medicine. He has directed the Medical Physiology portions at both. He has published 9 articles in medical education journals and presented numerous abstracts on educational research. He has received a Teaching Career Enhancement Award and New Investigator Award from the APS. Dr. Harris is currently on the Awards Committee and has served on the Careers in Physiology Committee and Guyton Award Selection Committee from the Teaching Section. He is also a co-discipline director for the MedU Science Project, which is geared to integrate basic science into the clinical years of medical school.
