Scotland is situated in the north of UK Scotland is situated in the north of UK. It is washed by North Sea on the east and by North Atlantic Ocean on the west. Northern Ireland occupies the northeast of Ireland. This part of UK is washed by Irish Sea on the east.

Edinburgh has been the capital of Scotland since 15th century Edinburgh has been the capital of Scotland since 15th century. Scotland’s biggest cities are Glasgow, Fort William, Aberdeen, Inverness. Belfast is the capital of Northern Ireland. The largest cities of it are Shannon, Derry, Newry.
