You don’t need a passport! Since Puerto Rico is a territory or “commonwealth” of the United States it is a beautiful and easy place to vacation…. They use our money! You don’t need a passport!

Average year round temperatures are between 70-89 degrees so bring your bathing suit and flip flops!

The Castillo de San Cristóbal The Castillo de San Cristóbal is a Spanish fort in San Juan. It was built by Spain to protect against land based attacks on the city of San Juan. It is part of San juan National Historic Site. Castillo de San Cristóbal is the largest fortification built by the Spanish in the New World. When it was finished in 1783, it covered about 27 acres of land and basically wrapped around the city of San Juan.

Castillo San Felipe El Morro Lying on the northwestern-most point of the islet of Old San Juan. Castillo San Felipe del Morro is named in honor of King Phillip II of Spain. The fortification, also referred to as el Morro or 'the promontory,' was designed to guard the entrance to the San Juan Bay, and defend the Spanish colonial port city of San Juan from seaborne enemies. Castillo San Felipe El Morro Admission to the fort is $3 for adults ($5 if you buy a combined ticket that also includes San Cristobel Fort) and children under 15 get in for free.

Luquillo Beach Luquillo Beach is known as one of Puerto Rico’s best beaches. It is located about 45 minutes from San Juan and makes a perfect day trip! The 60 “kioskos” that line the beach are famous for their traditional Puerto Rican Cuisine…

El Yunque The nations only rain forest, El Yunque, is located about an hour drive from San Juan. Ample rainfall (over 200 inches a year in some areas) creates a jungle-like setting — lush foliage, waterfalls and rivers are a prevalent sight. The forest has a number of trails from which the jungle-like territory's flora and fauna can be appreciated.
