What does a German shepherd look like? Male German shepherds weigh up to 95 pounds and grow up to 26 inches. Females weigh up to 78 pounds and grow up to 24 inches (2 feet). They have brown eyes and long pointed ears. German shepherds have black noses.

What are some colors the German shepherd can be? They normally are tan & dark brown or red & black. Some rarer colors are blue and liver. Others are pure white or pure black.

Do German shepherds have jobs? German shepherds are search-&-recue dogs. They can also be guard dogs for the blind. Some work for the police. While others do scout duty training.

Do German shepherds have jobs? #2 German shepherds work for the army and military. They also are personal guard dogs.

What do German shepherds act like? German shepherds can be aggressive. They can be protective but some times over protective. They are very inelegant and obedient. German shepherds are very active and curious. They can be very eager and willing.

Interesting facts German shepherds live up to 12 years old (84 in dog years)!  They are actors and actresses. They were actually World War 2 messenger dogs! They have strong jaws and are herding dogs.
