Module 6 Unexplained Mysteries of the Natural World

Read the reading passage again and answer the questions. 1. What happened? Several groups of people saw a kind of “monster”. 2. Where did it happen? In Lake Tianchi in the Changbai Mountains in Jilin Province.

3. What was the monster like? It lived in the water, was black or greenish-black, and some people said it had a round head and body with 10-cm horns on the head, while others said it had a horse’s head. 4. What might have been the reasons for the appearance of the monster?
