“ I appreciate that I have a Coach to talk to. It means a lot to have someone; it really makes a huge difference in my stress levels and allows me to focus on myself. ” Problem: Marian had a long history of chronic stress. She works as a nurses’ aide in a busy hospital and cares for her aging mom at home. Although she loves her job and caring for her mom, the amount of stress she experienced felt unmanageable. Solution: Marian recognized it was she who needed help and participated in Wellness Coaching to earn points for her incentive program. Marian believes her Wellness Coach’s support made the difference. With her Coach’s help, Marian has: Identified action steps she could take toward stress relief, such as taking time for activities she enjoyed Committed to do one activity per day Stayed accountable to her goals Noticed that she felt less stressed and more relaxed
