The Bible Speaks to our Condition A Look at Heb 1

The Hebrew letter is written to those who are recent converts from Judaism In Judaism they had thought of the prophets and angels as mediums through whom the message of God was communicated to people (vs 1, 4) The writer demonstrates throughout the entire book that Christ is superior to the prophets, the angels, the Mosaic law, and the Levitical priesthood The writer encourages the converts to look and listen to Jesus Christ as God’s authentic and supreme messenger to the hearts of people Introduction

How God Speaks (vs 1-2) In times past (vs 1) Today (vs 2) To the fathers by the prophets Today (vs 2) By His Son How God Speaks (vs 1-2)
