It will not affect any other part of the body or component of fitness. THRESHOLDS OF TRAINING training threshold is: how high your heart rate needs to be in order for the body to train effectively and show an improvement How to work it out…. For cardiovascular (aerobic) exercise it should be at least 60% of your maximum heart rate. Normally need to use 60-80% of max as your training zone. Max Heart Rate = 220 – age therefore; Training Zone for 15 year old = 123 to 164 beats per minute Training threshold= 123 You should exercise at this rate for at least 20 to 30 minutes 2/3 times a week

PROGRESSION –key word is GRADUAL GRADUALLY INCREASE PACE GRADUALLY INCREASE LENGTH OF SESSION GRADUALLY INCREASE INCLINE GRADUALLY INCREASE TIMES PER WEEK

OVERLOAD working harder than usual, in the target zone! Its obvious how this works, but how can we overload the following exercises? Do you know any other specialised equipment which can create overload? REMEMBER THE 60%-80%RULE
