Children’s Internet Protection Act (CIPA) Presented: April 12, 2010

What does CIPA Require? Technology Protection Measure that filters visual depictions deemed: Obscene Child pornography Harmful to minors Internet Safety Policy that must address: Monitoring of online activities by minors Education of minors on appropriate online behavior Safety and security of minors when using electronic communications Unauthorized online access (hacking) Unauthorized disclosure of personal info.
