SADD: Students Against Drinking Driving SADD stand for students against drinking driving. It also means Students against Destructive Decisions. We all know that teens have faced a big amount of pressure these days. SADD has been and organization for 35 years. SADD has been providing students tools to help contact their peers about everyday issues. SADD believes that to find the solutions to the big issues our teens are dealing with, the teens themselves must have a voice and they must be part of the solution. SADD exists to empower teens, to provide the tools they need to inspire positive action, to become leaders and role models, and to create a community-based approach to addressing the most critical issues that face teens today.

SADD story An 18 year old girl never thought it would happen to her, but then it did. The 18 year old girl was with her 2 best friends. She was drinking and driving and now here friends are gone all because of her. And now because of this accident she is caring so much weight.

SADD I chose that video because it told the story of people and their mistakes. This video will help you realize that drinking and driving is a bad idea. From you watching this video, I hope it helps you realize that when you are able to drive you are not drinking and driving. Drinking and driving has taken so many lives. Drinking affects driving because when you drink you don’t know what you’r doing so when you drink and drive you will most likely crash.

MADD Mothers Against Drunk Driving. Mothers that were affected in their life by people drinking and driving or someone in their family who were affected by drinking and driving or even just people who are against drinking or driving can join the MADD association. The goal of MADD was to reduce drunk driving traffic fatalities and the organization has been highly effective in raising public disapproval of drunk driving. To raise awareness for their cause by doing a red ribbon campaign throughout November and December as a reminder to… Never drive impaired or ride with an impaired driver. Plan ahead if you’re going to be drinking. Take a cab or bus, arrange a designated driver or plan to stay over. Call 911 you see a driver you suspect is impaired. For information on the signs of an impaired driver and what to do, visit our campaign 911 page.

AADAC Story Hi my name is Josh and this is my story. It all started when I went to a party at my friends house, they were all smoking I didn’t know what to do. They kept encouraging me to smoke. “Come on don’t be a baby” a random person said. I took the cigarette and lit it. I couldn’t stop coughing. “You’ll get used to it”my friend Leo said laughing. Ever since then smoking has been a habit until my parents found out, they told me I had to stop. They didn’t even have to tell me that I knew I had to quit. So I went to the AADAC and they helped me so much. Now I stopped smoking and everything is good. A message from the AADAC.

AA Meetings: Alcoholics Anonymous AA stands for Alcoholics Anonymous is an organization of men and women who want to share their experiences to help solve the common problem, and help others recover from alcoholism. The only requirement is the desire to stop drinking. The AA Meetings can be traced back to the Oxford Group a religious movement in the US and Europe in the early 20th century.

AA Meetings Continued My name is M and I am NOT an alcoholic. However, I did label myself this stupid word for many years and I did not drink a drop for 37 years. I arrived at AA at 18 years old. n the summer of 2008, someone very close to me was drinking out of control. So I took him to a young person’s meeting. To be sure, it was not. It was filled with creepy 50-60 year old men, chain smoking and glaring at the young new hopeful twenty something’s who still had no self esteem. I was horrified. THIS IS A TRUE STORY
