Celebrated October 31st - November 2nd. Based on the Aztec ritual, where skulls symbolized death and rebirth 16th century Spanish brought Catholic religion and “All Souls Day”

Traditional Aztec Day of the Dead costume Wear bells and shells to wake the dead and keep them close.

The skull symbolizes ancestors and the belief that they live on after death.
