What are canyons Canyons are deep and narrow valleys with very steep sides. Canyons are very big mountains made out of big rock. Some canyons have lakes that go all across the canyon.

Where are there canyons Canyons have been found all over the world. For example: some canyons can be found on land and others at the bottom of the sea. Canyons are usually located in dry and hot places. Also in hot weather.

miscellaneous Canyons are formed by a long process called erosion. There is a really big canyon called The Grand Canyon . The Grand Canyon is the most famous canyon in the world. It is 5.ooo feet deep.
