PE1 Friends

Best friends Tell me George, do you have a best friend? Yes I do. His name is John. Have you known John a long time? Yes, we’ve been classmates since elementary school. What is it you like most about him? Well, he’s direct and honest and has a cool sense of humor. Have you two ever shared some special experience? Yes, last summer we went to Thailand together. We had a great vacation! Is there anything different about him and you? Yes, I’m pretty shy, but he is fairly outgoing. But you’re still good friends. Yes, and I think we always will be.

Weird? John, I thought you and Mary had split up! We have, but we’re still good friends. That’s weird. If you split up with your girlfriend, you should never see her again. When she first left me I wanted to kill her. But now I feel we have a lot in common. Then why don’t you want to kiss her, and… I don’t know. We’re happy being just friends.
