WHAT CRABS LOOK LIKE They sometimes have eyes on them and have eyes off them. Crabs have ten legs and sharp claws. They sometimes have hair on them. The mouth is right in the middle of the antennas. One pair of legs for swimming legs. Those are some facts about how a crab looks like. Crabs have an interesting body.

Fun Facts There are lots of interesting facts about crabs. They are decapod from crustacean family. There are over 4,500 types of crabs. Crabs communicate by drumming or waving their pincers. Crabs have a thick external skeleton called exoskeleton . Crabs have 10 legs. Also, crabs hands are legs so technically crabs have 12 legs. Now you know some crab facts.

Where Crabs Live Crabs have an interesting habitat. Their habitat is the seashore they live in the aquatic ecosystem. 50% of crabs live underwater, near volcanos , and others can be found in freshwater habitats. A few types of crabs live in sand dens. Crabs have unique habitats.

Crab Adaptations Crabs have many adaptations. An example of one is that crabs use their claws to stay safe from predators. That is a physical adaptation. Another physical adaptation is that they have fierce eyes to scare away predators. A behavioral adaptation is that crabs dig into the sand to hide in it. Those are a few adaptations of a crab .

What do crabs eat Do you know that crabs prey are snails, fish, mussels, shrimp, and other crabs. Crabs predators are shark, macaques, sea turtles, and other crabs. Those are some of crabs prey and predator.
