The Sphinx and the Farmer by Dakota P.

A poor Ancient Egyptian farmer woke up one day and went to slaughter some of his antelope for his wife because she was pregnant, and she was hungry. He found a sphinx instead, and he kept it in the pen with the antelope and other wild animals.

The next day he came back to the farm and he found a gold brick The next day he came back to the farm and he found a gold brick. He said to his wife, “I found a gold brick!” His wife didn’t believe him , until he showed her ….then she believed him and asked him where he got it. He said I got it from a sphinx. His wife said, “Prove it!”

He said, “Ok I will. ” Follow me. His wife said ok He said, “Ok I will.” Follow me. His wife said ok. When she saw the sphinx she nearly fainted. Then he said if we keep him for a little more we can be rich and buy a huge house. 1 week later… .we have 1,999 bricks of gold. Let’s see if we can get more buy killing the sphinx. But he didn’t get any thing in return. He felt so sad.
