London – the capital of The United Kingdom

Buckingham Palace This is the Queens house. It is called the Buckingham Palace.

The Palace is huge. It has 775 rooms. 

Around the Palace there is a lovely beautiful garden.

In the summer there is many colourful flowers.

You can also meet there many fluffy squirrels You can also meet there many fluffy squirrels. They are very friendly and come to people very close.

When you leave The Palace, you can see red busses on the streets of London.

There is many of them. Some of them don’t have a roof.

This is the building where the British Parliament is This is the building where the British Parliament is. The clock on the tower is called Big Ben.

There is also a big river – it is called The River Thames. In 1666 people used the water from this river to stop The Great Fire of London.

Next to the River Thames there is a giant wheel Next to the River Thames there is a giant wheel. It is called The London Eye.
