Challenges Facing the Repository Faculty Participation Copyright and getting the “right” version Metadata/ Metadata Clean Up Faculty Participation: Getting faculty to self-submit or to engage in the process, though those that do are very enthusiastic Copyright and getting the right version: We have to manually check each item for rights, there are some scripts and work arounds, but metadata needs to be prepared to run those, Also, authors don’t always have the right version either because they didn’t keep it or because they aren’t the lead author etc. Metadata: Sometimes the authors have the wrong info, we have to transform citations to Dublin Core, we have to make the metadata up completey.

Looking Forward Developing more streamlined workflows to capture metadata and full text content Broadening the scope of the collection Expanding our SelectedWorks service
