Superhero Newsletter Mrs. Patton’s September 5, 2017 Important Dates Tues. Sept. 12th – Picture Day Classroom News Writing: This week we will begin editing a piece of writing. Reading: We are starting a read aloud, Stone Fox. We will use this during our mini lessons for the rest of this unit. Math: We have started topic 2. We are learning about patterns to help us learn our multiplication facts. Science: We started our Science unit on Earth’s resources. This week our focus will be on rocks and start looking at soil. Literacy Tip Reading is better understood when talked about. Take a few minutes and have your child share what their book is about.
