Outreach: Summer 2008 Professor Stokes serves as the ??? For the NSM AGEP Program. She assists student from >???? As they learn about forensics science.

Professor Stokes served as a judge at the annual University of Houston Charter School Science Fair for K- 4th grade. Outreach: Fall 2008 The PI discusses how a propeller is use for helicopter flight with science fair participants at the UH Charter School.

Outreach: Spring 2008 Professor Stokes host a laboratory tour for seniors attending Austin High School (Houston Independent School district) . Graduate student Stephen Tsui give a demo on superconductivity and magnet levitation.

Outreach: Summer 2007 Professor Stokes serves as the ??? For the NSM AGEP Program. (Left) Dr. Stokes assists student from ???? as they learn about types of matter and phase changes.

Outreach: Spring 2007 Professor Stokes host a laboratory tour for students from Bear Branch Elementary (Humble Independent School District) . Students enjoy playing with a demo on superconductivity and magnet levitation.

As part of a Martin Luther King Visiting Professor at Wayne State University, the Dr. Stokes spoke to 7th and 8th grade science classes at the Detroit Academy for Science, Mathematics and Technology. Several of those students and their teacher attended a technical colloquium which was presented to the Department of Physics at Wayne State University. Outreach: Fall 2003 The PI lectures on nanotechnology and it’s importance to our future to 8th grade students at the Detroit Academy for Science, Math and Technology in Detroit, Michigan.
