What are the implications of this? The Northern Ireland assembly is currently in suspension because the two major parties, DUP and Sinn Féin, are unable to reach a power-sharing agreement. Some agreement needs to be reached between the two parties and the British government are meant to act as neutral facilitators, however, how is this possible if the government are in a coalition with one of the parties?
