Rotation- To spin around an axis Rotate Like a ballerina twirling or spinning a basketball on your fingertips.

Axis- Imaginary line running through a planet around which the planet spins.

Revolution- To go around an object in a curved path Revolve Planets revolve around the sun.

Orbit- The path a body (such as a planet) takes in its revolution around another body (like the Sun).

Day- Length of time it takes for a planet to make one full rotation on its axis. (Complete Spin)

Length of time it takes for a planet to make one full revolution around the sun. Year-
