Before you register A valid email address Before you register, be sure you have: A valid email address Course ID from your instructor Student access code
Registering for MyAutomotiveLab Go to www.myautomotivelab.com. Click the Student button in the Register box.
Registering for MyAutomotiveLab If you already have an access code If you need to purchase access online with a credit card
Registering for MyAutomotiveLab Click on the textbook that your instructor is using. Select Next.
Registering for MyAutomotiveLab If you already have an access code, and it says it includes eText access, select Yes. If you are buying access, specify if you’d like it to include eText access Select NEXT
Registering for MyAutomotiveLab Read the License Agreement and Privacy Policy. Click 7
Registering for MyAutomotiveLab On the Access Information page, you will be asked if you have a Pearson Education account. If so, click the Yes option. Enter the existing login name and password.
Registering for MyAutomotiveLab If you do not have an account, click the No option. Enter your desired login name Enter and then re-type your desired password
Registering for MyAutomotiveLab Enter your access code (unless you purchased access online). Click the Next button.
Registering for MyAutomotiveLab On the Account Information page, enter your name and email address, and retype your email address.
Registering for MyAutomotiveLab In the School Location section, select the country in which your school is located. Enter your school’s ZIP or postal code = Ex. 20005
Registering for MyAutomotiveLab Select your school from the list. tip: If your school is not listed, scroll to the bottom of the drop-down list and select Other. Enter your school name and city and select the state from the list.
Registering for MyAutomotiveLab Select a Security Question and enter the answer. Click the button (only once!) to submit your registration. tip: The Security Question and answer helps Product Support verify your identity in case you forget your login name or password.
Registering for MyAutomotiveLab A Confirmation and Summary page displays, indicating your registration is successful! Click the button to log into MyAutomotiveLab. tip: If desired, print the confirmation page to keep a record of this information. A copy of this information will be emailed to you.
Login & Enroll in MyAutomotiveLab After you register for MyAutomotiveLab, log in and enroll in your instructor’s course. On the Login page, type your login name and password. Click Login.
Login & Enroll in MyAutomotiveLab The first time you log in a welcome message will pop up. Read it, click Do not display this message again, and then click OK.
Login & Enroll in MyAutomotiveLab On the My Courses page, click the Enroll in a Course button.
Login & Enroll in MyAutomotiveLab Enter the Course ID provided by your instructor. Click Submit. On the Confirm Course screen, verify the course and instructor are correct. Click the button.
Login & Enroll in MyAutomotiveLab On the Summary screen, confirm the information is correct and then click the button to enter the new course. .
Congratulations! You are now registered and enrolled in a course in MyAutomotiveLab! Click the Course Name to enter your Course.
Use MyAutomotiveLab to Learn terminology and procedure through videos and interactive exercises Explore game-like simulations through the 3-D garage
Use MyAutomotiveLab to Self-test and work through customized study plans Keep track of assignments on the Course Calendar
