LINKAGE PROJECTS - OBJECTIVES a. support the initiation and/or development of long-term strategic research alliances between higher education organisations and other organisations, including industry and other research end-users, in order to apply advanced knowledge to problems and/or to provide opportunities to obtain national economic, commercial, social or cultural benefits b. provide opportunities for internationally competitive research projects to be conducted in collaboration with organisations outside the higher education sector, targeting those who have demonstrated a clear commitment to high-quality research c. encourage growth of a national pool of world-class researchers to meet the needs of the broader Australian innovation system d. build the scale and focus of research in the national Science and Research Priorities.

ARC LPs New rules from January 2017 Continuous - can resubmit twice within 12 months (calendar year) but address any criticism and refine Panels involving 3 college of experts/application Notification - super-fast: 8-12 weeks (ie. Grant Writing Tips: Planning Collaboration to enhance research capacity is an opportunity for HASS ARC collaboration: ~30% HASS, 70% STEM Think strategically for 5 year program Identify program topic, problem, contribution Build a research profile with Library (eg.
