The Job Interview

Avoid Common Mistakes Don’t be late. Arrive 15 minutes early. Don’t dress too casually. Don’t wear too much perfume or cologne. Don’t discuss personal problems. Don’t answer your cell phone. Don’t interrupt. Don’t post unprofessional information on social networking sites. Potential employers may visit these sites to learn more about you. Don’t text a job interviewer.

Apply Good Interview Techniques Research the company thoroughly. Practice answering interview questions. Dress appropriately. Shake hands firmly. Sit up straight and show your interest. Be honest. Ask questions. Write a thank-you note after the interview.
