Revenge in Romeo & Juliet

From ancient grudge break to new mutiny, Where civil blood makes civil hands unclean Prologue

If ever you disturb our streets again, Your lives shall pay the forfeit of the peace.’ Prince Escalus Act 1 Scene 1 The Prince will take revenge on anyone who breaks the peace.

As I hate hell, all Montagues, and thee. Tybalt Act 1 Scene 1 Tybalt wants revenge on the Montagues and Mercutio (just because they’re enemies)

This, by his voice, should be a Montague. Fetch me my rapier, boy. Tybalt Act 1 Scene 5 Tybalt wants revenge on Romeo for coming to the Capulet’s party.

Boy, this shall not excuse the injuries That thou hast done me, therefore turn and draw. Tybalt Act 3 Scene 1 Tybalt wants revenge on Romeo for coming to the Capulet party and for refusing to fight him.

Away to heaven respective lenity, And fire and fury be my conduct now. Romeo Act 3 Scene 1 Romeo wants revenge on Tybalt for killing Mercutio.

I beg for justice, which thou, Prince, must give. Romeo slew Tybalt, Romeo must not live. Lady Capulet Act 3 Scene 1 Lady Capulet wants revenge on Romeo for killing her nephew (Tybalt)

We will have vengeance for it, fear thou not. Lady Capulet Act 3 Scene 5 Lady Capulet swears to Juliet they will have revenge on Romeo for killing Tybalt.
