FRIENDS OF ROCK ROAD LIBRARY Writing Competition for 7 – 16 year olds Home as Inspiration Writing Competition for 7 – 16 year olds Write about ‘home’ as a source of inspiration in any form – short story, poetry, prose, drama etc. set in the present, past or future. 7 – 11 year olds –1000 word limit 12-16 year olds – 3000 word limit Judges: renowned local children's writers including the award-winning Julian Sedgwick The ten best entries in each category will be published in a special anthology that will be available at the Library. Winning entries will be broadcast on Cambridge 105. Open to students from all schools in Cambridgeshire.
